Life in Beta

No trip to the Presque Isle beaches here in Erie can complete be without stopping at Sara’s for a hot dog and ice cream cones. Since moving home, I hadn’t had a chance, but last night Mike and I took his son Ben to do just that. Benjamin enjoyed his ice cream and had a lot of fun making a sticky mess out of he and I both! After dinner, we went to the beach and played in the sand for a while, then we stopped at the playground and spent an hour on the sliding board. I meant to get pictures of the rest of our evening, but I found myself too caught up in enjoying the moment to remember to pull out a camera.

And you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Living in the moment.

This is my mom’s new little buddy. He’s a 5-month old Papillon pup. She’s named him Spock.
